Beautiful moments with the Slavin family for their newborn session in Farmington MN

This is an example of how I want all of my lifestyle newborn clients to be - comfortable with their young kids being themselves, in their own space that they love so dearly, and spending time together as a family. A little bit of chaos, sugar, and laughter made for truly the most perfect lifestyle newborn session while being cooped up and away from the blistery cold of winter in Wisconsin.

I’ve had the honor of capturing moments for the Wenzel family since Blythe was in her momma’s womb; next was Blythe’s newborn session, then another a year later, and recently I got to meet her little brother Oakley. My first newborn of 2021, he’s seriously the most handsome baby ever! With fiery red hair like his momma, chubby cheeks, and beautiful skin tone, I just about died holding him and recalling all those newborn moments.

This dreamy session to document Vesna turning ONE turned out so beautiful, you wouldn’t even know it was mostly filled with tears. Such is the life of a one year old who doesn’t care if Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa or Aunty wants her to smile for photos.

With two amazing parents, it’s no wonder Calum was just the most precious and perfect little baby boy.

Kasey and Kyra were back in River Falls visiting family and thought that a maternity session on Kasey’s family’s farm would be a great idea. I have to say, I agree! A beautiful backdrop, a few (let’s be real…MANY) cow pies, and lots of moos made for a one-of-a-kind session in the summer heat.

Meg, a paramedic, was working at the Scoops for Troops 5K when she met TC, a firefighter, who ignited a fire that neither of them wanted to put out! Six years later they are happily married and recently welcomed their first child, a daughter named Maya.
